More than 100 thousand people benefit from the subsidized water supply from the Caraíba pipeline, which supplies raw water to the company’s facilities, to the Districts of Pilar and Santa Rosa, belonging to the municipality of Jaguarari, to the districts of Juremal, Carnaíba do Sertão, Massaroca and Abóbora in the municipality of Juazeiro, in addition to the municipality of Uauá and 600 farmers along its 86 kilometers of extension, promoting the development of family irrigated agriculture.
This pipeline also supplies the Vale do Curaçá sub-duct, with a length of 56 km, which serves several rural communities in the municipality of Curaçá (BA). Through the project, we donate more than 1500 kite cars a year to supply the community/municipalities surrounding the industrial unit.
